CASE Forensics provides forensic investigation, historic preservation, restoration consulting services, material conservation and remediation design for historic and contemporary structures, monuments, and statues across the United States. Our expert investigators, engineers and architects work with facility managers, property managers, owners and owner representatives on diverse structures nationally and internationally. Using a diverse range of nondestructive and minimally invasive state-of-practice investigation technologies to evaluate buildings and infrastructure, our expertise and work experience includes stone and brick masonry construction means, methods and materials, structural and architectural metal and sculptures, and traditional timber and engineered wood components. Along with utilizing ground penetrating radar, ultrasonics, impact echo, infrared thermography, resistograph, and many other NDE techniques, CASE employs SINT drill resistance technology to assess stone and mortar; a technology developed in Italy for use on the Leaning Tower of Pisa. CASE is IRATA certified to perform high access investigations and inspections via rope access. We are a unique leader in this field with the staff, facilities, equipment and experience in a broad range of historic preservation consulting services.
