SUMMARY
Mr. Cochran, CFEI, has over 15 years of experience in structural design, analysis, and evaluation, including 9 years of experience performing forensic investigations. Mr. Cochran’s primary focus is conducting a wide array of field investigations in order to evaluate the cause and extent of property losses/damages resulting from structural failure, building component failure, construction defect, and building envelope water intrusion. His strong design and construction background allow him to develop cost-effective repair plans for damaged structures. Investigations often include building code review and assessment of existing work in relation to industry standards.
Mr. Cochran has investigated catastrophic losses from hurricanes and tornados, as well as damages from fire, wind, snow, ice, hail, water and expansive soils. His experience covers a variety of retail buildings, office buildings, medical facilities, and both single and multi-family residential buildings. Mr. Cochran has also performed dozens of fire investigations on commercial and residential structures. He is a Registered Professional Engineer (Civil / Structural) in the state of Colorado, Wyoming and Texas. |
