SUMMARY
Neil Biggerstaff, PE, CFI, CFEI, is a Mechanical Engineer and Fire Investigator supporting both our Honolulu and Seattle offices. He specializes in fire origin and cause investigations in conjunction with mechanical systems found in residential and commercial construction, as well as machinery and vehicle fires. His engineering background includes failure analysis work involving various types of machinery, appliances, heavy equipment, hydraulics and vehicle components.

Mr. Biggerstaff has worked with product safety and warning features on the performance of machinery and equipment. He has also been involved with HVAC system analysis, including air distribution, plumbing and refrigeration components. He has experience with determining the location of fire origins, evidence collection, and performing testing and analysis to determine the root cause of fires in buildings, vehicles, and heavy equipment.
